Louis Lewandowski Festival 2014

The fourth festival is dedicated to the synagogal music of Jewish composers from Germany who emigrated to the United States.T

These composers are connected to Levandowski’s legacy in two very different ways. After the overwhelming success of the last three festivals dedicated to Louis Lewandowski and his most important contemporaries and successors, this year’s festival focuses on composers who have emigrated to the United States. We are pleased to have again this year invited seven choirs from all over the world who have dedicated their concerts to the repertoire of these composers.
