Great Jewish religious choral music of international standing is the hallmark of this outstanding music festival.

This year, dear guests, you can rediscover highlights from 14 years of the Louis Lewandowski Festival and celebrate the diversity of Jewish soundscapes. “Best of Louis” will leave nothing to be desired for friends of Jewish religious choral music.

In recent years, the Louis Lewandowski Festival has gained popularity far beyond the borders of Berlin and I am sure that the 15th festival will once again be a great success. With “Hidden Voices” from Philadelphia, the Adi Choir from Tel Aviv, the Leipzig Synagogal Choir and the Synagogal Ensemble Berlin, excellent artists will once again be performing at the festival.

In recent years, Berlin has once again become a respected center of synagogue music. Thanks to the musicians, but also thanks to an open-minded and interested audience and thanks to our loyal sponsors. Without them, the Louis Lewandowski Festival would not have been possible in this form.

Special thanks go to the “inventor” and organizer of the Louis Lewandowski Festival, Nils Busch-Petersen, who has worked tirelessly with his team for 15 years to organize and stage the festival. In doing so, he makes a great contribution to the understanding between Jews and non-Jews. Despite the current difficult political conditions in the world, he has once again succeeded in putting on a great festival. Thank you very much!
